Research: What is the Best Time for Peaceful Sleep?

For a healthy life, an average person requires seven to nine hours of sleep a day. Adequate sleep, ranging from a minimum of seven hours to a maximum of nine hours, is essential. However, insufficient sleep can affect a person’s mood, cognitive abilities, and overall functionality throughout the day.

According to reports, approximately 51% of people worldwide suffer from a lack of sleep, with 80% of them spending the weekend catching up on sleep to compensate for the week’s sleep deprivation.

Lack of sleep can change facial complexion and the visible appearance of the eyes, potentially leading to the development of wrinkles. Inadequate sleep at night is also linked to weight gain. Nighttime eaters often consume fast food, contributing to accelerated weight gain.

Experts suggest that quality sleep has positive effects on individuals, a concept often referred to as “beauty sleep.” The benefits of proper sleep include improved mood, prevention of irritability and anger associated with insufficient sleep, and strengthening the heart, helping avoid cardiovascular diseases. Good sleep also enhances memory formation and supports the development of brain cells.

Research indicates that people who sleep between 9 to 10 hours during the night tend to be more alert and active during the day.

According to the research, the best time to sleep is around 9:45 PM, and waking up time is around 6:55 AM.

Sleep expert Neil Robinson emphasized the importance of “beauty sleep,” stating that many people spend significant time trying to look good but often forget that obtaining better sleep at night can have a positive impact on their overall appearance.
