Islamabad: Federal Law Minister Babar Awan has said that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) would not part ways with the Punjab government on its own to avoid “Lotacracy”.
Addressing a press conference flanked by Punjab Senior Minister Raja Riaz, he said that the government would continue with the politics of reconciliation, adding that the PPP neither gives deadlines nor accept.
Awan said that the press conference of Punjab chief minister drew criticism from the small provinces, adding that it was not good omen for the democracy.
He reiterated that the doors of talks were open for every one and the country needed politics of maturity. Awan added that a single party could not decide destiny of the country.
He said that all the decisions in the democratic government are taken with consultation.
Awan continued that the 10-point agenda would be discussed with the PML-N.
