Major Setback for West Indies before T20 World Cup, Jason Holder Out of Event

West Indies’ team has suffered a major setback ahead of the T20 World Cup starting next month.

Former West Indies captain Jason Holder has been ruled out of the event due to injury. Jason Holder sustained an injury during a County Championship match.

For the T20 World Cup squad, West Indies Cricket Board has included Obed McCoy in place of Jason Holder.

The West Indies Cricket Board has also included 5 reserve players in the squad for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, including Hayden Walsh, Andre Fletcher, Fabian Allen, Matthew Ford, and Kyle Mayers.

It is worth noting that the ICC T20 World Cup will be played in the United States and the West Indies from June 2nd.
