Perth: Former Australian cricketer and former mentor of the national team, Matthew Hayden, has made predictions regarding the top four teams for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, while excluding Pakistan from his top four teams.
Matthew Hayden, who served as the mentor of the Pakistani team during the ICC T20 World Cup 2022, predicted that the teams playing in the semi-finals of the ICC T20 World Cup would include Australia, South Africa, England, and India.
Expressing confidence in Pakistan for the T20 World Cup, Matthew Hayden mentioned that Pakistan’s team has the backbone of Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Fakhar Zaman for batting. The return of Amir, Haris, and Imad has strengthened their squad. If they maintain a significant fielding standard, Pakistan can certainly be included in the top four teams.
