Karachi: The Sindh Department of Education has announced an extension of school holidays until August 14 due to weather conditions, and a notification has been issued.
According to the report, schools across the province were scheduled to reopen on August 1. However, considering the intensity of the heat and the possibility of severe rains in Sindh, it has been decided to extend the holidays further.
The Education Minister stated that activities and extracurricular events related to August 14 will continue in schools.
The Department of Education confirmed that the new academic year in Sindh will commence from August 15, following the summer holidays.
