Islamabad: Pakistan defeated Australia 2-0 in the Pak-Australia volleyball series.
In the second match of the volleyball series held at Liaquat Gymnasium in Islamabad, the Pakistani team exhibited excellent performance against the Kangaroos, winning the first set with 26 points to 24.
Later, in the second set, Pakistan won with 25-19, and in the third set, they secured victory with 25 points to 23. With their second consecutive win in the series, Pakistan also clinched the three-match series.
A large number of spectators attended the Pak-Australia match, and the Liaquat Gymnasium echoed with chants of “Pakistan Zindabad” following the remarkable victory. The third and final match of the three-match series will be played on May 30.
It is noteworthy that this was Australia’s first-ever series in Pakistan’s history.
