Karachi: The Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) has been allowed to raised utility tariff by 96 paisa per unit on Tuesday.
National Electric Power Regulatory Authority(NEPRA) has allow the KESC for increasing electricity tariff in the form of fuel adjustment charges.
The permission was granted by the NEPRA Chairman Khalid Saeed at a meeting held here today.
Saeed expressed concerns over KESC reluctance for generating electricity through furnace oil.
