Flight From Bishkek with 205 Pakistani Students Lands in Karachi, Sindh CM Welcomes Them at Airport

Karachi: The arrival of Pakistani students stranded in Kyrgyzstan continues as a PIA flight carrying 205 students landed in Karachi and was welcomed by the chief minister of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah.

According to details, the first PIA flight PK-6260 carrying 205 students from Bishkek arrived in Karachi. On this occasion, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah along with other officials welcomed the students. The arrivals lounge at Karachi Airport was also crowded with the families of the students.

Special flights operated by PIA from Bishkek to Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Multan are also underway.

Speaking to the media at the airport, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that the provincial government has been in constant contact regarding the return of students. The provincial government arranged the travel from Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan.

He expressed gratitude that the safe return of students has been ensured. The repatriated students include 55 girls and 150 boys, with 99 students belonging to Karachi and the rest from other districts of Sindh.

In this regard, the students thanked Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah for taking immediate steps for their return.

It is noteworthy that several flights from Bishkek have already brought Pakistani students back to their homeland.
