Karachi: A delegation from Palestine, that arrived in Pakistan, visited Idarah Noor-e-Haq under the leadership of Syed Hussain Al-Burqah on Wednesday. They also had a meeting with the Deputy Emirs of Jamaat-e-Islami, Muslim Parvez, and Raja Arif Sultan.
The delegation included Dr. Muhammad Adeeb Yasir Ji, Secretary-General of the Palestine Scholars Forum, Sheikh Yousuf Abbas, Secretary-General of The Global Campaign to Return to Palestine, and Dr. Sabir Abu Mariam, Secretary-General of the Palestine Foundation Pakistan.
The leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami expressed their support for the freedom of Al-Aqsa and Palestine from the clutches of Israeli occupiers and the continuous struggle of the Palestinians. They warmly welcomed the delegation’s visit to Idarah Noor-e-Haq and expressed complete solidarity with them.
On this occasion, Jamaat-e-Islami presented a copy of the Holy Quran as a gift to the esteemed guests, while the delegation presented the flag of Palestine and a symbol of freedom containing a key to the leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami.
During the meeting, there was unanimous agreement and emphasis on the fact that it is the responsibility of the entire Muslim Ummah to make relentless efforts for the freedom of Palestine and to raise an effective voice at the global level for the people of Palestine and provide support and assistance at all levels, including political and diplomatic.
Syed Hussain Al-Burqah, while speaking, said that the Palestinian struggle is an exemplary model for the entire Ummah. Despite all the state-sponsored oppression, violence, and difficult circumstances, the people of Palestine have continued their struggle, and this century will prove to be a century of freedom for Palestine and the success of the Islamic world.
The path to success and glory of the Muslim Ummah goes through the freedom of Palestine. The issue of Palestine is not specific to any particular region or nation; it is the issue of the entire Muslim Ummah. That is why anti-Islamic forces and imperial powers want to suppress this issue.
He said that we are very happy and delighted to be present at the office of the political party founded by Syed Abul A’la Maududi and to be in the company of its leaders. According to the ideology of Syed Abul A’la Maududi, Jamaat-e-Islami is not just a party; it is a forum and platform for the entire Muslim Ummah, and the entire Muslim Ummah stands as one body. Jamaat-e-Islami is a great blessing and trust.

Muslim Parvez assured the delegation that Jamaat-e-Islami will continue to support and stand with the people of Palestine. The illegal and oppressive Israeli occupation of Al-Quds Al-Sharif is the issue of the entire Muslim Ummah.
