President Rouhani likely to visit Pakistan soon

ISLAMABAD: Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Mehdi Honardoost  has said that President Rouhani will visit Pakistan on March 25 which may bring a better opportunity to discuss important issues of both the countries.

Honardoost stated that during his meeting with Federal Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Wednesday.

Meeting with Khuwaja Asif, Mehdi said that President Rouhani will visit Pakistan on March 25. He further said that this visit would be a better opportunity to discuss important issues between the two countries.

On this occasion, Asif said that lifted economic sanctions imposed on Iran will help expand bilateral trade while China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will also play an important role in the region. He added that, Pak-Iran gas pipeline project is an example of good relations between both the countries.
