BEIJING – Former China’s Olympic champion Liy Xiang announced to give divorce his wife, on Thursday.
China’s athletes decided to give divorce to his wife, Ge Tian after the nine-month of marriage. Ge Tian is famous Chinese actor.
He made the announcement of divorce on his personal social media account and mentioned that incompatibility is the reason of ending relation.
He wrote on social media that “We are ending this marriage today.” “We hope we can each have a better life from now on. We bless each other,” he added.
Chinese athlete married famous actor Ge Tian in September, 2014. Liu won gold medal for his country in the 110-meter hurdle race in Athens Olympics 2004.
More than one million comments were there within two hours on his account. Most of comments showed support for him. Fans supported the decision of their national hero.
He was hope for people of China in 2008 Beijing games but he missed because of foot injury. He announced retirement from game in April 2015.
