Islamabad: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek Insaf Imran Khan has condemned Asif Zardari’s statement about Pakistan Army
Imran Khan said that both PML-N and PPP are two sides of the same coin, referring their partnership are to hide the corruption cases of one another.
“Asif Ali Zarari has used very harsh words against army while Nawaz Sharif has come to save him”. Khan explained.
Imran Khan while speaking to media in front of Supreme Court reiterated that next general elections are going to be held this year.
He explained that Judicial Commission will prove to be base of free and fair elections in Pakistan.
“I have never waited for any movie the way I am waiting for the report of Judicial Commission”. Imran Khan added.
On the demand from opposition parties regarding CM KPK resignation, Imran Khan told that they should first ask for resignation from Nawaz Sharif as these parties have already alleged rigging in general elections 2013.
“Opposition is afraid of KPK NAB because NAB has been taking action across the board despite of any political pressure”, Â PTI chairman argued.
Islamabad: PM Nawaz Sharif has called of his meeting with Asif Zardari. Information minister Pervez Rasheed has said that cabinet has suggested Prime Minister not to meet Asif Zardari after his statement about Pak Army on Tuesday.
Meeting of Nawaz Sharif with Asif Zardari has become a mystery. PPP sources told that there was no meeting scheduled, PM house authorities also confirmed tha there was no meeting in written schedule. But party sources of PML-N have said that meeting was cancelled by PM.
Around 1 pm, spokesman of ex-president, Farhatullah Babar has told media that Asif Zardari will leave for PM house in a while.
Meeting between PM and AZ was to be held on lunch but later it was reported to be at 3pm. Just before 3pm, Farhatullah Babar came up with statement that meeting has been postponed with mutual consent.
Later on in a press briefing Pervez Rasheed confirmed that it was the cabinet, which suggested PM not to meet Asif Zardari after his statement about Pak Army last night.
While sources of Zardari House still claiming that meeting was cancelled with the mutual consent.
