Punjab to name new university after Malala Yousafzai: Shahbaz Sharif

LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif on Friday announced naming after Malala Yousafzai a new university in the province for winning the Nobel Peace Prize.

Congratulating Malala Yousafzai for winning Nobel Peace Prize, Shahbaz Sharif praised her for her struggle for girls right to education.  He said that Punjab government will strive for ensuring right to education to every child of the province.  He said that a new university in the province will be named after Malala Yousafzai in recognition of her services.

It is to be mentioned here that Punjab government has already named Attock Daanish School after Malala Yousafzai in 2012 in recognition of her services and had reserved seats in the name of Malala Yousafzai for girl students of Swat in the school.
