MUMBAI: Pakistani all-rounder and Skipper of Lahore Lions Mohammad Hafeez said, it was the great decision to hand over the Twenty 20 (T20) captaincy to Shahid Afridi.
The former skipper of T20 Mohammad Hafeez admiring Afridi said, he have provided great services to the nation and appointing him for as caption for two years was a great decision made by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
He further said, he have the great respect for Shahid Afridi and he will try his best to perform for the country.
While giving an answer about Lahore Lions he said, the boys are enjoying this level of cricket.
Hafeez said, this is the first time that a Pakistani side qualified for the group stage of Champions league T20.
“I am enjoying as the caption of the Lahore Lions” he said.
This platform is new for most of the team mates, he said and added that they all are enjoying every moment playing in India.
He further said, they have got the great support in the Ripur and hoped to get more latter on in the tournament.
