Islamabad: Pakistan is ready for the launch of its second communications satellite, “PakSat-MM1.”
According to details, Pakistan’s latest communications satellite, PakSat-MM1, will be sent into space on Thursday, May 30th.
PakSat-MM1 has been built through mutual cooperation between the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) and the Chinese aerospace industry, and it is expected to operate for 15 years.
PakSat-MM1 will contribute to improving TV broadcasting, cellular phone services, and broadband services across Pakistan, and it is scheduled to begin its services in August next year.
Additionally, it will be Pakistan’s second space mission by SUPARCO in the month of May.
It is worth noting that Pakistan recently launched its first artificial lunar satellite, “PakTES-1A.”
