We accepted all demands of marchers except one: PM Nawaz Sharif

LAHORE: Prime Minister of Pakistan (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Saturday said that he accepted all the demands of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) except one.

Talking to reporters in Lahore, Sharif said that he will not allow anyone to derail democracy in the country.

“Sit-ins damaged the economy of the country during the last 17 days,” Sharif said.

“The demonstrators are asking things which are not under my control,” he said.

“I don’t have the authority to dissolve assemblies and also the matter of resignations,” he added.
