Qadri rejects ‘incomplete FIR’ without terrorism section, PM’s name

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri has rejected the First Investigation Report (FIR) against Model Town incident accusing 21 persons including top government officials.

Tahirul Qadri said that the FIR will be accepted after addition of anti-terrorism acts, as well as addition of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s name in the legal document.

Qadri reiterated his demands, ‘Pakistani government should be dissolved besides provision of Prime Minister and Chief Minister’s resignations.’

He declared the process of case registration ‘incomplete’ with addition of PM Nawaz Sharif’s name and addition of anti-terrorism acts.

Earlier, he refuted all reports regarding registration of First Investigation Report (FIR) against Model Town incident on Thursday (today) when he was not informed about the legal registration against the suspects.

Tahirul Qadri told the PAT protestors, ‘No FIR was lodged against the culprits of Model Town incident according to our knowledge’.

He added, ‘How can we believe until receiving the copy of FIR?’

Qadri reiterated, ‘People will collect news of Revolution soon as we are fighting for real rights and law.’

He said that no reports will be accepted until they received copy of the legal documents.

PTI-protestors

While addressing the participants of sit-ins, Tahirul Qadri exchanged interesting comments over PTI and PAT partnership, said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) workers are political cousins.

He included himself as well in the relationship by saying that PTI chief Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri are like two brothers who have decided to live or die together.
