KABUL: Supreme Commander of Afghan Taliban, Mullah Omar expressed joy over the release of five Taliban prisoners and termed it a ‘significant achievement’ .
A few days ago Taliban released a US soldier Bowe Bergdahl after a bargain mediated by Middle Eastern country, Qatar.
While US released five Taliban prisoners namely, Muhammad Fazal , Mullah Noorullah Noori, Muhammad Nabi, Khairullah Khairkhwa and Abdul Haq Wasiq.
Mullah Omar also thanked Qatar government and Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hammad II for his cooperation in the release.
