ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Iran have discussed to extent their annual trade of $1 billion to $5 billion,reports.
According to reports, State Bank of Pakistan Governor Ashraf Mahmood Wathra and Iran’s Deputy Finance and Economic Affairs Minister Behrouz Alishiri meet at the Tehran.
Both representatives of their respective countries emphasized the need of expand cooperation in different areas of economy, local media reported.
According to Iranian Customs Administration, Pakistan was the 8th largest importer of the Iran by the end of March 2014.
Pakistan imported about $641.7 million worth of goods from Iran and exported about $320 million worth of goods to its western neighbor, According to Tehran times.
