ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party leader Khursheed Shah on Saturday evening held a press conference in Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan.
The PPP leader said that previous government has took every possible action to organise fair and free election in Pakistan, however, the election results are incomprehensible.
Shah, during the press conference, said that PPP is ready to work with Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) in the interest of Pakistani nation.
PPP leader said the party will sideline the political issues and prefer to collaborate with anyone to resolve national issues.
Regarding the terrorism challenges in Pakistan, Khursheed Shah said, “Nothing is more important but peace, definitely will fight against terrorism together.”
Shah also expressed his views on constitutional amendment, he said, “PPP will never raise any objection if PML-N want amendment in the constitution in favour of the country۔”
The leader said that democratic awareness was promoted in the Pakistani nation during PPP tenure.
He added that PPP desire the continuation of democratic process in the country as the previous five-year tenure completed successfully.
