QUETTA: A mild earthquake hit parts of Dalbandin and adjacent areas in the early hours of Wednesday.
Meteorological department said that the epicenter of the quake, measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale, was in the North West of Dalbandin in Balochistan.
At least thirty four people were killed and dozens of others injured in different parts of Balochistan as a powerful earthquake hit the Pak-Iran border area on Tuesday. Strong tremors were felt in different parts of Pakistan, Iran, India and the Gulf countries.
According to media reports most of the casualties took place in Mashkel area of Balochistan when the earthquake jolted the area levelling the mud houses.
