LAHORE: Three more innocent children have lost their lives to the heinous outbreak of measles in the province of Punjab.
According to the spokesman of provincial health department, as many as eight children have died of the disease in the current week.
It may be noted here that several underage children have become a casualty to improper, inadequate vaccination and lack of appropriate measures from those sitting at the helm of affairs.
The number of affected infants in the province has crossed the mark of 8,500.
An outbreak last year had also broke similar havoc in the province, blamed on the absence of required medicine for vaccination. However, apparently, no proper measures were adopted to curb the practice then.
