Peshawar: In the latest of fake degree saga, a former member of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly has been sent behind bars for three years on the fraudulent act, here on Tuesday (today).
The verdict was given in the case heard at the session court in Dera Ismael Khan, wherein Khalifa Abdul Khayyum was also fined rupees 5,000 to free himself of the blame. The court’s decision included annulling the bail of the former MPA.
It maybe mentioned here that the degree cases have once again come on surface, owing to the scrutiny of candidates to take part in general elections in the country.
