Karachi: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Tuesday expressed dissatisfaction over the report submitted by the Inspector General Police Sindh and issued him show-cause notice for not providing complete list of policemen involved in crimes.
A larger-bench of the apex court headed by Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali continued the hearing of Karachi law and order implementation case at Karachi registry.
The bench rejected the Sindh IG’s report and ordered him to provide with reason on Wednesday that why he did not submit complete list of the policemen and officers involved in crimes.
Justice Khilji Arif, the member of the bench, remarked that Karachi law and order situation was not at normal, adding that people were not living in better situation.
Subsequently, the bench adjourned the hearing of the case till Wednesday.
