Islamabad: Pakistan’s Attorney General Irfan Qadir on Friday presented the notification pertaining to the formation of a commission over the death of Kamran Faisal — the NAB officer probing high profile rental power project case — before the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
The AG present the notification before a two-judge bench of the apex court during the hearing the officer’s death case.
During the hearing, Justice Jawad S Khaja remarked that Justice (r) Jawed Iqbal commission was not judicial but an investigating commission.
The bench also gave conditional exemption to Fasih Bukhari, the NAB chairman, from appearing before the bench.
Subsequently, the bench adjourned the hearing of the case till February 11.
