Sukkur: Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Syed Khursheed Shah has held Taliban responsible behind violence and unrest in Karachi, Sindh’s capital city.
Shah, who faced severe criticism over his statement regarding military operation in Karachi few days back, said Taliban not political parties are involved in acts of terrorism in the metropolitan city of Pakistan.
Talking to local media here on Sunday, the minister said that all the precautionary measures have been taken for security during the sacred month of Muharram.
He said that Talibanization has grounded its roots in Karachi and the government is trying to limit it. “Taliban are involved in Karachi unrest, not the workers of any political party.”
