Islamabad: Â Federal Interior Minister of Pakistan Rehman Malik said Thursday that a strategy was being devised for suspending cellular services starting tonight.
He was speaking to journalists outside the Rawalpindi District Headquarters Hospital were he had come to see injured law enforcement officials of yesterday’s blast.
The Government of Sindh has also announced a three-day public holiday on 8, 9 and 10 of Muharram while Punjab government announced pillion riding bane in the province.
The government has repeatedly made claims of heightening security in order to prevent untoward incidents during the holy month, along with suspending cellular services and banning pillion riding.
