Islamabad: Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik Friday condemned the Karachi blast targeting Shiite worship place and reiterated that mobile SIMs and motorcycles have turned into a dangerous weapons used by militants.
It is to be mentioned here that miscreants used motorcycle in Abbas Town blast, which killed three people and wounded 23 others, to trigger the explosive material.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the minister said that he had directed police and Rangers to collect evidence from the blast spot for the forensic examination.
The Minister also directed IG Sindh to submit the report as soon as possible.
The Interior minister on 1st Muharram imposed ban on motorcycle riding and suspended mobile services in two major cities of the country, Karachi and Quetta, citing security alerts, which said that militants could use motorcycles and SIMs in their terror activities.
