Islamabad: Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik condemned blasts in Karachi and Rawalpindi, warning that militants were preparing to target more sites across Pakistan.
Talking to a private news channel on Wednesday night, Malik said that the militants wanted to sabotage the ongoing Developing-8 conference in Islamabad.
“Miscreant elements are trying to destabilize the country,” he said adding that they would not be able to succeed in their attempt.
He further said that they were security alerts in the capital and the law enforcement authorities were ready to sabotage any attempt from the terrorist elements.
