Rawalpindi: Showing a decline in performance of the students, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Rawalpindi has announced results for class XI.
“About 45 percent of student remained successful in the exams,” Arslan Ali Cheema, spokesman of the board told The News Tribe.
However he seemed satisfied over the fact that result was better, about six percent more than the last year’s one.
According to statistics over 49,000 students participated in the exams out of which 22,629 stood pass.
Board of Rawalpindi, famous for being headquarter of Pakistan’s Armed Forces, says if someone wants to recheck his or her paper, he or she could get it rechecked after paying a fee of Rs. 770.
However, according to an official, every paper has been checked for three to four times to avoid any mistake in paper checking.
