Karachi: At least four people, including a policeman were killed in different parts of Karachi on Tuesday, police said.
According to police, two political activists were gunned down in Orangi Town area of the city. The police said the deceased were identified as Malik Saleem and Shaheen both affiliated with the Pakistan People’s Party.
A man was killed in Metrovil area of Site town apparently due to his refusal to pay extortion money while unidentified armed men killed a man in Peetal Gali area of Gulbahar. Rizvia Society police said the deceased identified as Gulzar was a police constable and the incident seemed to be a part of targeted killing.
A man identified as Zahid, 32, was killed when he put up resistance during a dacoitee in Quaidabad area near Nafsiati Hospital. The killers managed to escape the scene.
Armed men shot dead a man in Orangi Town 14 area and his body was shifted to a hospital for medico legal formalities.
