Islamabad: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that there is no need to send reference against Supreme Court Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
Talking to media after Vice Chancellors’ Conference on Monday, he said that the issue of CJ’s son Iftikhar Arsan was sub-judice and didn’t want to discuss it.
Answering a question whether a reference would be sent to Supreme Judicial Conference against the chief justice over the allegations against his son, Mr Gilani said there was no need to do so.
