Karachi: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain on Sunday claimed that the state had been involved in sponsoring conspiracies to stamp down MQM and its student wing, All Pakistan Muttahidda Students Organization (APMSO).
In a telephonic address on the occasion of APMSO’s founding day at MQM headquarters, Nine Zero, the party chief went ahead to say that those who caballed to close the chapter on Altaf Hussain ended up in a “cul-de-sac” themselves.
“By the grace of Almighty Allah I am still around for the holy blood of our martyrs guards me all the time, whereas the late former chief of the army staff General Asif Nawaz Janjua is not anymore”, said the MQM leader.
Altaf also said the ones who scoffed at us were now themselves being laughed at by the whole world.
“In the court of Almighty Allah the victims get justice, while the wicked His wrath, which is quite evident.”
Altaf also claimed that he was fully cognizant of the identities of those who were godfathering the terrorists as well as extortionists in Karachi.
