Islamabad: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has asked his son Ali Musa Gilani to immediately return to Pakistan to face allegations in connection with ephedrine import scam, media reports said on Wednesday.
According to the reports, the prime minister telephoned his son, who has been to South Africa to a honeymoon trip, to shorten his visit.
Ali Musa Gilani, sitting MNA, has been facing allegations of his involvement in RS 7 billion ephedrine import case.
Mr Gilani left the country as the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) moved the Supreme Court of Pakistan against the hurdles being created by the government in the investigation against the son of the prime minister.
