Mumbai: Delhi Daredevils outplayed Mumbai Indians and defeated by seven wickets in the 19th match of India Premier League (IPL) played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, a metropolitan of India.
The Delhi achieved a low scoring target of 93 runs for the loss of three wickets with almost five overs left in the innings. Virender Sehwag who scored 32 runs remained the top scorer in the innings accompanied by Jayawardane and Ross Taylor who remained not out on 17 and 11 runs respectively.
The Mumbai bowlers tried well but they couldn’t stop Delhi from achieving a low target. RP Singh who took two wickets was the leading wicket taker from Mumbai Indians along with Pragyan Ojha who took one wicket only.
Earlier due to brilliant bowling by Delhi bowlers the Mumbai Indians was restricted to a low target of 93 runs.
