London: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief, Altaf Hussain on Tuesday called government and army officials for taking the nation into confidence ahead of presentation of recommendations of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS) on new rules of engagement with the US before the joint sitting of the Parliament on April 5.
In a statement released from MQM Secretariat in London, Hussain appealed to the government, military leadership, establishment and members of the PCNS to take the nation in confidence of whether they were restoring the supplies or not.
“Please, take the nation into confidence through media over Nato supplies, drone strikes and other issues of national security by keeping in view the demands and reservations of Nato and other developed countries.”
It is to be mentioned here that there were rumors that the government and army has decided to restore Nato supplies and assured the US officials that the supply would soon be restored.
