Washington: United States (US) Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that US want relationship with Pakistan based on constructive and mutual interests, media reported on Wednesday.
According to reports addressing a press conference with his Afghan counterpart Zalmai Rassoul, Clinton said that the enemies of Pakistan and US are identical adding that it would be beneficial for the both countries to fight against the militancy.
Mrs. Clinton refused to talk regarding the suggestion of Pakistan’s Parliamentary committee of defence and said that she would not comment on the issue until government of Pakistan announces its new foreign policy.
“US respects the soverginity of Pakistan,” she added.
The secretary of State further said that US-Afghanistan Strategic agreement would be signed before or after the Nato’s Summit in Chicago.
