Peshawar: Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Mr. Justice Dost Muhammad Khan said that the development of healthy sports activities from own resources will keep the youth not only to become a good player but also good citizens and Malik Saad Memorial Sports Trust (MSSMST) services in this connection are really commendable.
While talking to a delegation of MSSMST the Chief Justice paid rich tribute to Shaheed Malik Saad and lauded his and other Shaheed Police officers and Jawans services to the nation. He mentioned that the services rendered by them will be written in golden words the history of Pakistan.
The Chief Justice appreciated that MSSMST was promoting healthy sports activities besides educational and health care facilities to the children of this Province with the names of these martyred officers adding that this need of the hour to stop our new generation from the evils of present time by providing them healthy sports activities.
“In the past with these type of efforts many world level sports men were brought up from remote area of the Province like Bannu who rose up to the Olympians level and led Pakistani Hockey team,” he added.
Earlier, MSSMST Secretary Mr. amjad Aziz Malik briefed the Honourable Chief Justice Peshawar High Court that they were establishing sports academies with their own resources across the Province and FATA adding that Rs. 0.8 Million worth sports items distributed among these sport academies and would also Rs. 0.4 Million worth sports goods among these players in the current year.
The delegation was led by Mr.Aamjad Aziz Malik along with MSSMST Board of Trustees(BOT) Members Syed Ali Nawaz Gilani, Mr. Mazhar-ul-Haq, Mr. Tajamul Hayat Malik, Mr. Tasleem Hussain Advocate Dr. Zakir Shah.
