Islamabad: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has resumed hearing of National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) Implementation case.
Attorney General of Pakistan Maulvi Anwarul Haq will present the government’s viewpoint on the six options given by the Supreme Court. The Law Secretary and National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman will also appear before the court.
The SC ordered government representatives to appear in court on Monday to explain what they have planned to do.
On January 10, a five-member bench decided to refer the six options relating to the NRO implementation case to the Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry for constitution of a larger bench for hearing of these options.
