Islamabad: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has decided not to write letter to the Swiss government for reopening of cases against President Asif Ali Zardari.
The core committee’s meeting was headed by President Zardari while Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani also attended the meeting.
The decision was taken during a meeting of PPP Core Committee jointly chaired by President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani.
Sources said that PPP Vice President Babar Awan briefed the meeting over legal aspects of Supreme Court verdict regarding NRO.
It is to mention here that the SC has given last opportunity to the government to fully implement its orders on NRO case.
