London: Member House of Lords Lord Nazir Ahmed gave former Sindh Home Minister ‘Valor Award’ for his bold stance against MQM during a ceremony organized by him in eastern London.
Lord Nazir Ahmed challenged MQM chief Altaf Hussain to hold debate with him over Karachi situation.
Harshly criticizing the MQM, Ahmed said that he rated MQM as worse than India and Israel, saying that MQM could not silenced them through intimidation.
Addressing the ceremony Zulfiqar Mirza said that he started his struggle against oppression and injustice after being inspired by Kashmiris’ struggle. He said that like the people of Kashmir, people in the largest city of Pakistan, Karachi, are also victim of oppression and violence. He said that lives of people were not safe both in Karachi and Srinagar, saying that Indian intelligence agency RAW was responsible for deteriorating situation of both the cities.
He claimed that RAW was using MQM to create law and order situation in Karachi. He said that on Thursday he would go to British PM office with all evidence against MQM and its chief Altaf Hussain.
