Stockholm: Pakistan and Indian tennis duo, Aisamul Haq and Rohan Bopanna, have cruised into the final of Stockholm Open Tennis Tournament after beating Cypriot Marcos Baghdatis and Argentine Juan Martin del Potro here on Friday.
Pak-Indo pair defeated the Cypriot-Argentine duo in the semifinal by 2-6, 6-2, 10-8.
The top-seeded Indo-Pak Express struggled with their service games in the opening set, picking up four needless double-faults, as Baghdatis and del Potro dominated.
However, the pair came back strongly in the second set, breaking their opponents twice to level the match at one set apiece.
In a fiercely contested tie-break in the deciding set, Aisam and Bopanna held their nerve during crucial moments of the match and converted their first match-point to seal the victory and go through to the final of the tournament.
