Karachi: Pakistan people’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders strongly criticized Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain’s profanation of Muslims’ Holy Book.
PPP leader Nasir Ali Shah said MQM Chief Altaf Hussain was looking like a Khateeb of Mosque more than a national politician. He said Hussain’s speech was just waste of time because he gave references of published news in various English newspapers which everyone knows instead of answering Mirza’s serious allegations.
He said MQM chief’s speech gifted loss of millions of rupees to Pakistani media.
Meanwhile, PML-N leader Hanif Abbasi said any Muslim cannot even think profanation of Holy Quraan. He said there is a big difference between Zulfiqar Mirza and Altaf Hussain’s showing up Muslims’ Holy Book.
