New Delhi: Foreign Secretaries of India and Pakistan termed the foreign ministers meeting as positive and said both the countries realized that relations between Pakistan and India were difficult.
Speaking at a press conference with her Pakistani counterpart, Indian Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao said that Pakistan and India also discussed water issue during the talks, adding that India was not taking away Pakistan’ s water and was committed to Indus Water treaty.
Replying a query, she said that India would share investigation into Samjhauta Express blast with Pakistan as soon it was completed.
She added that India wanted action against the perpetrators of Mumbai terror attacks.
Replying a query regarding an alleged statement of Jamat Ud Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed, Pakistan Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir said statements of individuals did not reflect state’s policy.
