Peshawar: At least four security officials were injured in a remote-controlled blast in South Waziristan tribal region near Afghan border, sources said on Monday.
The sources said that a convoy of security forces was heading toward Wana, main town of South Waziristan when a bomb struck their vehicle on Wana road near Manzai turn.
The forces rushed to the spot and launched a search operation in the area.
The injured were shifted to Tanak Hospital where their condition was said to be out of danger.
