Karachi: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has announced to observe protest-day on Friday in protest against the Supreme Court’s verdict in which the apex court ordered National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Deedar Hussain Shah to immediately step down from his position, declaring his appointment illegal.
PPP Sindh chapter Secreatry General Taj Haider in a statement issued here on Thursday shortly after the SC order said that the PPP would protest against the SC orders and would also observe strike in the province.
He said that transporters would not bring their vehicles on the roads besides business community would also shut down their shops and other business in protest against the SC’s verdict.
