Washington: Pakistan’s Ambassador to Washington Hussain Haqqani has said that US Congress has been informed about problems being faced by Islamabad.
While giving an interview to a private Pakistani TV channel (Express News) on Thursday, Haqqani paid thanks to the Congress’s panel to reject the bill to cut Pakistani aid.
He admitted that ties between Pakistan and the US were challenging, Islamabad was trying to remove the reservations of the US Congress.
The ambassador said that Pakistan has been facing severe challenges.
It is worth mentioning here that ties between both the countries have been turned into very critical phase after the unilateral US raid in Abottabad that led to the death of Osama bin Laden.
