Islamabad: The government of Pakistan has decreased patrol prices owing to decrease in international prices of petroleum oil and lubricant products, effective immediately from Tuesday midnight.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has issued a notification in this regard.
According to the notification, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 1.70 per litre, Kerosene Oil by Rs 5.05 per litre and High Speed Diesel by Rs 3.20.
Following the decision, the new prices are – Petrol Rs 86.71 per litre, Kerosene Rs 84.65 per litre and High Speed Diesel Rs 94.11 per litre.
Addressing a press conference, OGRA spokesman said the POL prices had fallen due to a decrease in POL prices in the international market. The spokesman said the prices of remaining POL products would be issued on Wednesday.
