ISLAMABAD: Federal government started process to recruit heads of key government institutions as today Finance minster Ishaq Dar interviewed shortlisted candidates for the head of House Building Finance Corporation (HBFC), National Investment Trust (NIT) and First Women Bank.
He was assisted by three more members of the committee which was formed to hire CEOs of finance ministry related institutions.
Finance Minister said government will follow merit, competence and transparency in hiring on the key posts of the government as promised by Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML N).
Talking about the vision regarding the state owned enterprises he said, they will be restructured to make them efficient and productive. He accepted that ongoing performances of the institutions was not up to the mark.
