NEW DELHI: Advisor to Prime Minister on foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz met with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to discuss terrorism and other issues.
Aziz is on a visit to India to meet the high level state and governmental officials to discuss bilateral affairs of the two neighbouring countries of South Asia.
A wave of tension has gripped the Line of Control where various reports of indiscriminate firing from Indian troops were reported. Many Pakistanis were injured reportedly in the firing incidents.
Salman Bashir, the high commissioner of Pakistan to India, was also present during the meeting held to discuss regional security and other issues.
On Tuesday, Sartaj Aziz met with Salman Khaursheed during which both of the leaders agreed to follow the ceasefire agreements between the two countries.
